Ik ben niet op mijn best maar toch weet ik op de Monte San Salvatore te komen. Daarna wordt het erger. Het gaat berg af naar Morcote met volgens mij meer dan 1000 traptreden. Met knikkende knien.
I don't have one of my best days but I manage to get to the top of the Monte San Salvatore. from there it just gets worse. The route is descending to Morcote. I estimate about a 1000 steps on those stairs.

| Morcote - Mendrisio: 16/10/2022 |
De laatste berg van dit avontuur: de Monte San Giorgio. Daarna berg af naar Mendrisio. De nacht breng ik door in mijn tentje op de Alpe Brusino op de flanken van die berg. Het is zoals gewoonlijk weer afzien.
The last mountain of this adventure: the Monte San Giorgio. After that it is down hill all the way to Mendrisio. The night is spent in my tent at the Alpe Brusino of that mountain.
